With Minor Place, Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin proposes a shared training on looking, to collectively generate, through a series of practices, energy of alliance. Minor Place is a temporary gathering, it wants to be a safe space where by simply accessing you are invited to take a position, to listen with your eyes, to practice empathy. Through few and clear guidelines the participants are invited to access the stage space: everyone can participate, with the freedom to decide at any time to interrupt or withdraw from the practice.

Inspired by Silvia Federici's Calibano e la Strega: le donne, il corpo e l'accumulazione originaria, Minor Place lives by the urgency to claim a physically translated sense of responsibility, and to question common views on the codes of use of the body . It is a call to action, a collective exhibition practice.

Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin defines herself as an Italo-Armenian queer artist who practices in the fields of dance and performing arts. Her work starts from the personal and political need to focus on the queer body and his research consists of pedagogical and performative events that focus the experience of pleasure as a form of resistance to systemic oppression. With a background in classical studies and a BA in performing arts at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, she began working as an author in 2010 in collaboration with Marco D'Agostin and Francesca Foscarini, with whom in 2014 she founded the VAN Cultural Association. She is the first Italian to become a choreographer residing at the K3 - Zentrum fur Choreographie Hamburg (Kampnagel) in the year 2015/16.

She periodically holds Pleasure Body, a laboratory space for queer, trans, non-binary (++) identities, where to collectively experience resistance strategies and somatic practices related to pleasure.
